Business Coach - You shouldn't be A salesman - Be considered a Problem Solver

I tell all of my coaching clients that sales may be the one skill you need to master which is not so hard to do.

Before I began my opportunity, I knew nothing about sales. Sure, should you inquired about about pizzas, I really could let you know why they're fantastic, but let's be honest, if an individual walks in to a restaurant; they are usually guaranteed to buy something without profits skills. What I did know was i had a product which I assumed was superior within the printing industry and I was able to tell anybody who would listen. I had been never formally trained to be a salesperson. Everything I learnt was self-taught, and through my experience, I gathered the appropriate tools and skills which I feel are very useful and efficient when you're selling any product. Although I sold online, I'd do door to door sales in the evening was finished. Picture this, I sell online towards the US from 12 am to 8 am, get 3 hours sleep, then do door to door sales around australia. It had been exhausting and stressful but I didn't care.

Failure was a choice. I learnt pretty quickly that after I finished trying really hard, sales would just flow. Whenever Cleaning it once a to remember a script or attemptedto SELL, it rarely worked. It got to the stage where I would arrive to some companies door and just say, "Hi, I know you're busy and i also shouldn't waste your time but I have something which I do believe will really benefit your business" Which was it, very easy. This did 2 things. One, it made the prospect comfortable and that he could relax and even more importantly you have set up the scene to get a potential sale. The greatest challenge for any kind of sale is the "I'm not interested" response. I have said it 1000 times myself and smile after i actually voice it out because I anticipate see what are the salesperson says next. When it is bad, I will say goodbye, if it is good, I'll listen. You literally have a short period of time to produce a good impression and hang up the scene so there are some things which i have discovered through the years. Sales are certainly the lifeblood of one's business, your oxygen.
